QUEER TONGUES was shown at Film Pride (Brighton & Hove Pride’s official LGBTQ+ film festival), 16-31st August 2021, online.

Gender diversity in Spoken Word.


The short documents the work and the views of contemporary genderqueer (non-binary, gender fluid, trans,...) poets and artists, exploring the role and the impact of gender in contemporary performance poetry (and society).


"Spoken Gender" was programmed at MicroActs Artist Film Festival 2020 in July 2020 and at French queer feminist film platform Les Mains Gauches - Festival à étiquettes glissantes in April 2021.

A guerrilla documentary short about spoken word and the queer body in 21st century London. It documents the work and the views of contemporary LGBTQI+ poets and artists, some of whom use their body as part of their spoken word performances.


Naked Tongues can we watched at Queerbee film streaming platform (for a small fee).

Naked Tongues won an Audience Choice Award at Leeds Queer Film Festival in 2019 and has also been officially selected by the likes of QueerBee Film Festival 2019 and the LGBTQ Shorts Film Festival 2019. Also screened at Exploding Cinema (London) and Queers in Shorts (Cambridge), amongst others.



20 20: LOCKDOWN EROTICA



performance poetry video





A queer poetry performance video exploring the fear of intimacy in the times of COVID (issues of social distancing, disease, fear of contagion, loneliness, sexual craving, autoeroticism, dark room sex). The poem is performed by two versions of the poet - mirroring each other - in lockdown. This poetry video has also been selected for: Hallucinea Festival (France), June 2021 the Duende Sessions Festival 2021 in Barcelona, November 2021 10th International Video Poetry Festival in Athens, Sept/Oct 2022 SCREAM QUEER in Rome, October 2022 Festival Fotogenia in México, November 2023 NSFW Film Fest, December 2023.


An earlier version of the film is part of Lee Campbell's HOMO HUMOUR Comedy & subversion in LGBTQ+ film (presented in February 2020 at Metal, Southend on Sea & at The Bridge House Theatre, London at FRISE, Hamburg, March 2022 Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool, May 2022, again in London in 2023... and beyond).
